Description
Careful craftsmanship for traditional timpani playing: the Rohema TT 106 features a medium-hard felt head with a diameter of 40 mm. Inside the head is a cork core around which two layers of felt are carefully sewn by hand.
The slim shaft is made from high-quality Tonkin bamboo. This particular type of bamboo is naturally very straight, stable and durable. The canes are additionally straightened and hardened over an open flame. A wax-oil finish completes the natural treatment of the material.
With a length of 385 mm and a shaft diameter of 10 mm, the TT 106 combines a lightweight bamboo shaft with a larger, medium-hard felt head. The combination of Tonkin bamboo, cork core and hand-sewn felt makes it a carefully crafted mallet for timpani playing.
