Instruments with a story.
Ready for more.
Old instruments, new chapter
Selected vintage instruments are professionally restored, technically inspected and refurbished with respect for their original character.
That way, their story lives on – and gets a brand-new chapter. One that you get to write.

Found
An instrument with a past. We select special older instruments with the right substance, character and history.

Restored
With respect for the original. The instruments are professionally inspected, refurbished and restored.

Played again
Ready for the next chapter. After restoration, the instrument shouldn't vanish onto a shelf – it should sound again, on stage, in the rehearsal room or at home.

Restored in Markneukirchen
For generations, Markneukirchen has stood for genuine instrument making. That's exactly where our partner Sascha Weber works in his own instrument workshop.
Together, we give selected vintage instruments their voice back – professionally, with experience and, above all, with respect for the original.
Because a good restoration isn't about erasing every trace of the past. It's about making the instrument playable again without restoring its story away.

Why we do it
Many old instruments are superbly crafted – from well-seasoned wood, with care and experience. Yet they often end up in the attic, in the basement or, worst case, on the scrap heap. We want to change that.
With a restored instrument, you get character, sound and history – and make a conscious choice at the same time.
High-quality instruments with a story: You get your hands on special pieces that simply aren't made like this anymore.
Save compared to new instruments: A restored instrument is a budget-friendly alternative to a comparable new one.
Make music sustainably: What already exists is preserved instead of newly produced – which saves resources.
A story doesn't end on the scrap heap: Every instrument gets the chance at a new chapter.
Craftsmanship from Markneukirchen.

Which instruments are restored?
We select special older instruments with the right substance, character and history.
Where are the instruments restored?
The restoration takes place in Markneukirchen, in the own instrument workshop of our partner Sascha Weber.
Are signs of wear preserved?
Yes, deliberately. The goal is to make the instrument playable again without restoring its story away. Patina and traces of the past are part of its character.
Why is a restored instrument sustainable?
Instead of producing a new instrument, an existing one is preserved and kept in use. That way, material and craftsmanship live on – and a story doesn't end on the scrap heap.
How much does a restored instrument cost?
The price depends on the individual instrument.
