Giving old instruments their voice back – expertly, inspected and with respect for the original

Genuine instrument making from Markneukirchen
For generations, Markneukirchen has stood for genuine instrument making. That is exactly where our partner Sascha Weber works in his own instrument workshop.
Together, we give selected old instruments their voice back – expertly, with experience and, above all, with respect for the original.
Restoring without erasing history
A good restoration is not about making every trace of the past disappear. It is about making the instrument playable again without erasing its history.
Patina, minor signs of use and the character of past decades are preserved – because they are exactly what make each instrument one of a kind.

1. Thorough inspection
Before any work begins, each instrument is carefully assessed: condition, materials, construction and previous repairs. This results in a clear plan of what is needed – and what will deliberately be preserved.

2. Expert restoration
In Sascha Weber's workshop, the instrument is restored with experience and traditional craftsmanship – with the aim of restoring its playability while preserving the original.

3. Tests & certificate
Only after final tests is the instrument approved – complete with a certificate. That way, you know for sure that your instrument has been inspected and is ready to play.
