Shake, scrape and explore different sounds: the Rohema Scrapy Shaker Red combines two ways of playing in one compact instrument. In addition to its warm shaker sound, the textured surface provides a guiro effect, creating further possibilities for first rhythmic sound experiments.
The Scrapy Shaker is made from natural beechwood. Its upper end is finished in red with a sweat- and saliva-resistant lacquer. Inside, a steel sand filling creates a distinctive shaker sound. Thanks to its compact shape, the instrument is also easy for small hands to grip.
Measuring 65 mm in length and 32 mm in diameter, the Scrapy Shaker combines convenient dimensions with different ways of producing sound. Shaker sounds, surface textures and movement can therefore be explored and combined through play.
