Description
Scraping and ringing in one compact instrument: the Rohema Scrapy Shaker Green combines the characteristic sound of a guiro with a bright bell. This provides two different ways of creating sound that can be explored individually or combined during rhythmic play.
The ribbed surface produces the typical guiro sound when scraped with a wooden mallet or stick. At the same time, movement causes the bright bell inside to ring. This combines a scraping sound and a bright ringing tone within a single instrument.
The Scrapy Shaker is made from untreated beechwood. Only the upper end is finished in green with a sweat- and saliva-resistant lacquer. Measuring 65 mm in length and 32 mm in diameter, the shaker has a compact format that is easy for small hands to grip.
