Viola 22132 – Tone with real substance

The best instruments don’t try to sound perfect.
They sound real.

The Viola 22132 by Norbert Knappe does exactly that.

Warm, dark and full of character, it creates a tone that doesn’t simply disappear after each note. Every sound carries weight. Every movement of the bow changes the color and emotion of the instrument. That’s exactly where the difference between an instrument and a musical companion begins.

The handcrafted construction and carefully selected tonewoods create an exceptionally open response and impressive dynamics. Soft passages remain smooth and controlled, while stronger bow pressure develops remarkable depth and projection.

The Viola 22132 doesn’t only react to technique.
It reacts to personality.

With violas especially, the subtle details in tone often decide whether music truly moves people or simply sounds correct. That’s why this instrument feels so alive. It creates warmth, tension and expression instead of sterile precision. Chamber music, ensembles, film scores or modern arrangements — the Viola 22132 stays flexible while maintaining a strong identity of its own.

For advanced players.
For ambitious musicians.
For people who don’t just want to hear sound.
But feel it.

Not perfect. But yours.
