Description
Soft in its attack and designed for delicate musical moments: the Rohema MT 208 is the soft version of the MT series. Its head features a cork core surrounded by two layers of fine merino felt. The felt is produced in Germany and carefully sewn by hand.
The soft construction provides a gentle playing response with minimal attack noise. In addition to timpani, the MT 208 is therefore also well suited to delicate cymbal rolls where a soft and restrained attack is required.
The 385 mm shaft is made from selected maple and features a lacquered finish. With a diameter of 12 mm, it provides a sturdy construction and complements the soft, ball-shaped 47 mm head to create a versatile mallet for sensitive and dynamically restrained passages.
