Description
Precise in its attack and versatile in use: the Rohema MT 206 is a medium-hard timpani mallet featuring a wooden core for a clear and articulate response. Fine merino felt produced in Germany is carefully sewn around the core by hand. An additional layer of felt provides extra cushioning and gives the mallet its medium hardness.
With its oval head and a diameter of 45 mm, the MT 206 is suitable for a variety of symphonic applications. The combination of a wooden core and multiple layers of felt provides a defined attack while retaining the characteristic felt covering of a timpani mallet.
The 385 mm shaft is made from maple and features a lacquered finish. With a diameter of 12 mm, it provides a sturdy construction and extends the versatility of the MT 206 beyond timpani. The mallet can also be used flexibly for percussion and drum set applications.
