Description
Durable construction meets a soft attack: the Rohema ET 427 is a medium-hard timpani mallet featuring a synthetic lambskin-style covering. The resilient synthetic material is less susceptible to wear than traditional coverings, making the mallet a versatile companion for a variety of percussion setups.
Inside the 50 mm ball-shaped head is a cork core. An additional layer of felt provides a soft attack and supports a full-bodied sound. This allows the ET 427 to combine its medium hardness with a pleasantly gentle response.
The 390 mm shaft is made from beechwood and features a lacquered finish. With a diameter of 12 mm, it provides a sturdy construction and complements the durable head to create a versatile mallet for timpani and a wide range of percussion applications.
