6-Chord Autoharp Zither – Single String

The 6-Chord Autoharp Zither by C. Robert Hopf provides an accessible introduction to traditional zither playing. Its intuitive chord layout allows beginners to accompany songs and play melodies without requiring extensive knowledge of music notation, while also offering experienced players a versatile instrument for recreational music-making.

The instrument features six chords with four strings each and 25 single melody strings. This new generation of autoharp zithers follows the widely used circle of fifths chord arrangement while retaining the traditional chord numbering system. As a result, playing becomes more intuitive and transposing to different keys is significantly easier for advanced musicians.

The zither is supplied complete with an instruction booklet, tuning wrench and zither ring. It is available in Black, Natural and Mahogany finishes. Black sides and back together with an elegant printed rose design complete its classic appearance.
