Violin 22131 – Built for real musical moments

Some violins sound correct.

And then there are instruments like the 22131 by Norbert Knappe.

A violin that doesn’t simply produce notes.
It creates atmosphere.

The very first bow stroke already reveals the craftsmanship behind this instrument. The tone feels open, warm and surprisingly present at the same time. Never harsh. Never sterile. Just alive. That’s exactly what makes high-quality handcrafted instruments so special. The 22131 reacts beautifully to every movement of the bow and delivers dynamics ranging from soft, almost fragile pianissimo passages to rich and powerful projection.

It doesn’t fight you.
It follows you.

The traditional construction and carefully selected tonewoods create depth, warmth and real character. With every piece you play, the instrument continues to open up and develop its own personality. And that’s exactly why musicians buy great violins not for a single year. But for decades.

Classical repertoire, chamber music, film scores or modern arrangements — the 22131 stays flexible while maintaining its own musical identity.

For ambitious students.
For advanced players.
For musicians searching for inspiration instead of limitation.

Not perfect. But yours.

Handcrafted by Norbert Knappe.
For people who don’t just want to play music.
But actually feel it.
