Rhythm that feels good in your hand: the Rohema Wooden Maracas Medium combines the classic form of a vessel shaker with natural wood and a pleasantly warm sound. Its ergonomically shaped handle makes the maraca comfortable to hold, whether exploring rhythm for the first time or making music together.
The shaker is primarily made from locally sourced beechwood. The upper section of the resonating body is made from darker jatoba wood, adding a natural visual accent. Inside, a steel sand filling creates the warm sound character of the Medium version. The waxed finish preserves the natural appearance of the wood.
Maracas are traditionally played in pairs and can be moved alternately or simultaneously, offering a variety of rhythmic possibilities. Measuring 180 mm in length and 45 mm in diameter, the Wooden Maracas Medium combines an easy-to-handle shape with a characteristic warm shaker sound.
