Description
A dark sound for varied rhythms: the Rohema Wooden Maracas Low combines natural wood with a strong, deep shaker character. Its ergonomically shaped handle is comfortable to hold, making the maraca a versatile rhythm instrument for group music-making, music classes and educational settings.
The maraca is made from locally sourced beechwood. Dark walnut at the upper end of the resonating body creates a natural contrast and visually reflects the darker sound character of the Low model. Inside, coarse steel sand produces its characteristic shaker sound. The waxed finish preserves the natural appearance and feel of the wood.
Maracas are traditionally played in pairs and can be moved simultaneously or alternately, allowing different rhythmic patterns to be explored through play. Measuring 180 mm in length and 45 mm in diameter, the Wooden Maracas Low has an easy-to-handle shape and is suitable for a wide range of musical and educational applications.
