Description
The sound of ocean waves in your hands: the Rohema Ocean Drum uses small steel balls inside the instrument to create its characteristic rushing, wave-like sound. Depending on how slowly or vigorously the drum is moved, different textures of flowing and rolling sounds can be produced.
The ocean drum is made from German beechwood. One side is fitted with a goatskin head, while the opposite side is made from wood. Small steel balls move across the surfaces inside the instrument to create its distinctive sound.
With a diameter of 20 cm, the Rohema Ocean Drum is compact and easy to handle. It is particularly suitable for exploring sounds together with children and can also be used in music and sound education as well as meditative sound activities.
