Description
Shake it, strike it and explore rhythm: the Rohema Headless Tambourine combines a frame made from regional beechwood with 10 pairs of jingles to produce a characteristically bright, metallic sound. Without a drumhead, it is a classic small percussion instrument.
The jingles are arranged in two rows with five pairs in each row. They can be sounded by shaking the instrument or striking it against the palm or heel of the hand, allowing different rhythmic patterns and accents to be played intuitively.
With a diameter of 20 cm, the instrument is suitable for elementary music education and Orff instrumentation, while also finding a place in pop, rock and Latin American music. Rohema recommends the instrument for children from approximately 3 years of age.
