Description
A simple instrument with a clear sense of rhythm: the Rohema Beech Claves 20 are classic wooden claves with a clear, penetrating sound. Two wooden sticks, a straightforward playing technique and plenty of rhythmic possibilities make them a versatile choice for making music together.
The claves are made from German beechwood sourced directly from the local region. Their surface is lacquered while retaining the natural appearance of the wood. Measuring 195 mm in length and 20 mm in diameter each, the Beech Claves offer a comfortable and easy-to-hold shape.
Claves are well known from Cuban music and are used for rhythmic accompaniment in styles such as salsa and rumba. Their simple method of sound production also makes them suitable for early music education, allowing children to explore rhythms, become familiar with basic note values and create musical accompaniments through play.
