Description
Acoustic playing is raw.
Direct. Honest. Unfiltered.
And it needs strings that can keep up.
The OPTIMA 24K Gold Strings Custom Light set isn’t about compromise. It’s built for players who care about how their sound actually feels.
Every string is coated with real 24K gold. No corrosion. No tarnishing. No constant replacing.
What stays is your tone.
The plain strings give you clarity and definition. The wound strings bring depth, warmth, and stability thanks to their hex core construction.
Together, they create something you can’t fake: A clear, brilliant sound with real character – the “Sound of Gold.”
The Custom Light gauge (.011–.050) gives you control without resistance: Easy to play, but with enough body to carry your sound.
Fingerstyle, strumming, or anything in between – these strings respond to you. Not the other way around.
Also a great choice for players with nickel allergies, as the gold coating fully protects the surface.
OPTIMA brings over 100 years of experience into every set. But this isn’t about history.
It’s about what happens when you play.
