Description
Not every string makes an impression.
These do. And they stay.
The OPTIMA 24K Gold Strings 2028.RL set isn’t your average string pack.
This is gear for players who actually care how things feel.
The plain strings are made from high-quality nickel-plated steel and coated with real 24K gold.
The wound strings are built on a hex core with gold-plated wrap wire for added stability and durability.
What you get:
A clear, stable tone that doesn’t fade after a few sessions. No corrosion. No tarnishing. Less string changes.
Under your fingers?
Smooth. Direct. Reliable.
The Regular Light gauge (.010–.046) hits the sweet spot: Flexible enough for lead, solid enough for rhythm.
Whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for years –
these strings don’t hold you back.
They respond to what you put in.
Also a solid choice for players with nickel allergies, as the gold coating fully protects the surface.
OPTIMA has over 100 years of string-making experience. But this isn’t about tradition.
It’s about what happens when you play.
