Double Bass 20950 – Depth you don’t just hear

A great double bass does more than keep rhythm. It carries the entire music.

The Double Bass 20950 by Holger Krupke does exactly that with remarkable calmness and presence.

This handcrafted instrument combines traditional double bass craftsmanship with a tonal character full of warmth, depth and dynamics. From the very first notes, it becomes clear that this is not simply about volume — it is about creating a real musical foundation.

The lower register develops a powerful and projecting tone with plenty of substance, while the response remains open and highly controllable. That balance is exactly what makes premium double basses so special: strength combined with musical flexibility.

This double bass doesn’t only respond to force.
It responds to feeling.

Whether bowed or plucked, the Double Bass 20950 creates remarkable tonal openness and a direct connection between player and instrument. Soft passages remain warm and detailed, while stronger playing develops impressive depth and projection.

Especially in ensemble and orchestral settings, it creates the kind of sound that holds music together without overpowering it. At the same time, it offers enough personality for solo passages and expressive playing.

For ambitious bassists.
For demanding musicians.
For people who don’t just want to accompany music.
But carry it.

Deep. Honest. Real.
