Description
Natural skin, wood and the bright sound of jingles come together in this traditional tambourine by Heberlein. Handcrafted from high-quality natural materials in the Vogtland region of Germany, it combines traditional construction with a lively rhythmic sound.
The frame is made from ash or maple and covered with natural skin. Its nailed construction emphasises the traditional character of the tambourine, while the integrated handle provides a comfortable grip when playing. Depending on the size, the instrument is fitted with three or four pairs of jingles.
Diameters of 18, 20, 22 and 24 cm are available. The two smaller versions feature three pairs of jingles each, while the larger versions feature four pairs. This makes it easy to choose a handcrafted tambourine in the preferred size, combining the sound of a drumhead and jingles in one instrument.
