Description
Natural skin, selected wood and the bright sound of jingles: the Heberlein Frame Drum with Jingles is handmade in the Vogtland region of Germany using high-quality natural materials. It combines the characteristic sound of a frame drum with additional metallic accents.
The frame is made from ash or maple and features a glued-in wooden handle for secure handling. The drum is fitted with a natural skin head whose tension can be adjusted using the supplied key. This allows the instrument to be tuned and the head tension to be adapted as required.
The number of jingle pairs varies depending on the size of the drum. Available versions include Ø 8″ with 3 pairs of jingles, Ø 10″ with 4 pairs, Ø 12″ with 5 pairs and Ø 14″ with 6 pairs. This provides a choice of sizes and configurations for different musical applications.
