Cello 20849 – Deep tone with its own voice

A good cello sounds beautiful. A great cello changes the room.

The Cello 20849 by Holger Krupke does exactly that.

This handcrafted 4/4 master cello develops a tone full of depth, warmth and musical openness. From the very first notes, it becomes clear that this is not simply about volume — it is about character.

The powerful low register projects effortlessly, while the upper register remains open, singing and clear. That balance is what makes premium cellos so special: presence without harshness, power without losing sensitivity.

This cello doesn’t only react to technique.
It reacts to personality.

The traditional handcrafted construction creates a direct response and exceptionally lively dynamics. Gentle bow strokes develop warmth and tonal color, while stronger passages unfold remarkable depth and expressive power.

The classic 4/4 size allows the instrument to develop the full tonal potential of a concert cello, creating especially rich resonance and projection.

Whether for solo performance, ensemble playing or orchestral work, the Cello 20849 remains musically flexible while always maintaining its own voice.

For advanced players.
For ambitious cellists.
For people who don’t just want to play music.
But tell stories with it.

Not polished. Full of life.
