Pirastro GmbH
The story of PIRASTRO began back in 1798, when Italian string maker Giorgio Pirazzi founded Giorgio Pirazzi & Figli in Offenbach am Main. The company maintained representatives in Rome, Naples and Padua and developed over the years into today’s PIRASTRO GmbH.
To this day, much of what PIRASTRO does revolves around the connection between musician, instrument and string.
The range includes gut strings such as Passione and Oliv, synthetic strings such as Evah Pirazzi and Tonica, as well as steel strings including Flexocor and Chromcor. This gives musicians a choice of different string concepts to suit their instrument, playing style and individual preferences.
