Description
The SEYDEL Harmonica Disinfection Bag is designed for disinfecting harmonicas using UV light and ozone. A special 185 nm UV lamp generates ozone from the oxygen inside the closed silicone bag, allowing the gas to reach areas inside the instrument that are otherwise difficult to access.
According to the manufacturer, the process is effective against bacteria and fungi and deactivates viruses with an efficiency of more than 99%. Ozone can also help neutralise unpleasant odours. An integrated timer automatically runs the disinfection cycle for five minutes before switching the device off.
The bag is suitable for different types of harmonica, including blues, chromatic, tremolo and octave models. It is intended for disinfection only and does not replace mechanical cleaning. The instrument should be completely dry before use. After the cycle, the ozone should be allowed to dissipate briefly before the harmonica is used again.
The integrated rechargeable battery can be charged using the included Micro-USB cable with a standard USB charger. Harmonicas are not included.
