More volume with the characteristic playing feel between a brush and a rod: the Rohema Straw Brushes XL are made from bundled European sorghum and feature a substantial diameter of 30 mm. This makes them an interesting combination of a traditional jazz brush and a rod.
The natural sorghum fibres produce considerably more volume than conventional jazz brushes while providing less attack than traditional rods. This allows the Straw Brushes XL to feel pleasantly light on cajon, hi-hat or snare while offering a distinctive sound between the soft response of a brush and the more present character of a rod.
The handle features Pro Grip Rubber for secure handling while playing. With a length of 360 mm and their larger 30 mm diameter, the XL model is the more substantial version of the Rohema Straw Brushes.
