Rohema Shake me Set of 12 – Three Sounds for Versatile Rhythms
12 Rohema Shake me shakers made from brass and natural wood. Includes 4 each with bright, warm and dark sounds, tuned through different woods and steel sand grains.
Description
Three sound characters, twelve shakers and plenty of possibilities for making rhythms together: the Rohema Shake me Set of 12 combines the high, medium and low versions in one comprehensive set. Four shakers each produce a bright, warm or dark sound.
All Shake me shakers combine high-quality brass with natural wood and a filling of steel sand. The individual sound character is influenced by the different grain sizes of the filling: finer or coarser grains create different tonal qualities. Rohema also makes these variations visually recognisable through the woods used. Light beech represents the high, bright sound, Jatoba the warm medium version and dark walnut the low, darker sound character.
Each shaker measures 95 mm in length and 30 mm in diameter, keeping the instruments compact and easy to handle. With four instruments of each sound character, the set is particularly suitable for group music-making and shared rhythmic activities.
