Description
Designed for a clear and direct attack on the xylophone: the Rohema PM 478 xylophone mallets combine a very hard head made from selected rosewood with a robust American hickory shaft. This construction makes the mallets particularly suitable for playing the xylophone.
The ball-shaped rosewood head has a diameter of 25 mm. The very hard wood provides a direct response ideally suited to producing the characteristic sound of the xylophone.
The 340 mm shaft is turned from durable American hickory and finished with lacquer. With a diameter of 12 mm, it provides a sturdy foundation for the very hard wooden head and makes the PM 478 a robust xylophone mallet for regular use.
