Description
A combination of a traditional timbales stick and a conventional drumstick: the Rohema José Cortijo Signature was developed together with José Cortijo to bring the characteristic qualities of both stick types into a single design.
Traditional timbales sticks usually have an even diameter and no shaped tip. The José Cortijo Signature adds drumstick-inspired features to this concept, providing a more balanced playing feel and greater versatility while preserving the characteristic sound on cowbells, cáscara surfaces and timbales heads.
The round tip further expands its possibilities on a drum set, particularly on cymbals. This makes the stick especially useful for musicians who combine timbales and drums within the same setup and want to move between them without constantly changing sticks.
