Description
Warm sound, comfortable handling and versatile tonal possibilities: the Rohema JB 1 is a jazz brush featuring fine metal wires and a handle made from high-quality American hickory. The wires are carefully balanced – neither too stiff nor too loose – producing a gentle, warm sound particularly well suited to jazz and Latin music.
Small rubber rings allow the spread of the metal wires to be adjusted, making it possible to adapt the playing feel to different applications. A rubber section between the wooden handle and the wires also helps soften cymbal accents and reduces an overly sharp sound.
The hickory handle sits comfortably in the hand while also expanding the tonal possibilities of the JB 1. When the brush is reversed, the wooden handle itself can be used to produce additional sounds. This makes the JB 1 a versatile jazz brush for a variety of playing techniques.
