Description
Play quietly, listen closely and explore new sounds together: the Rohema Dropsticks by Olaf Pyras were developed in collaboration with drummer, composer and educator Olaf Pyras. With a diameter of just 6 mm and a length of 405 mm, these slim sticks are specifically designed for very quiet playing.
The Dropsticks are suitable for classroom music-making, stick exercises and group groove work as well as open-ended musical experimentation. Despite their low volume, they still provide a clear and well-defined sound.
Made from American hickory and designed without a shaped tip, the sticks combine quiet dynamics with good sound response. This makes them a versatile tool for ensemble work, exploring new sounds and developing attentive listening skills.
