Description
Developed with the experience of an orchestral musician, the Rohema Concert Riedhammer 2 was created in collaboration with Arnold F. Riedhammer, who contributed more than 45 years of experience as a solo percussionist with the Munich Philharmonic and the group Blechschaden.
In terms of material and dimensions, the model matches the Concert Riedhammer 1. The stick is made from Red Hornwood, a laminated beech wood, and refined with a two-stage oil-wax finish. At 394 mm long and with a slim 14 mm diameter, its construction is designed for precise concert playing.
The defining difference is the tip: the Concert Riedhammer 2 features a small, round tip. This makes it particularly suitable for very quiet and sensitive passages, such as those found in Bolero, Scheherazade or Shostakovich's Symphony No. 7. The Concert Riedhammer 2 is also specifically suited to demanding orchestral auditions.
