Rohema Carbon Rods – Carbon Rods with Wooden Core and Wave Grip
Rohema Carbon Rods with 9 carbon-fibre rods, a lightweight spruce core and secure Wave Grip. Durable rods with high rebound and a pronounced response.
Description
High rebound, excellent durability and a clear response: the Rohema Carbon Rods combine nine high-quality carbon-fibre rods with a lightweight spruce wood core. The carbon rods are arranged in a circle around the wooden core, creating a construction that reduces overall weight while providing a direct playing feel.
Compared with conventional wooden rods, the carbon-fibre-reinforced material provides significantly greater durability and considerably higher rebound. The Carbon Rods also offer their own distinctive sound characteristics: cymbals respond with richer overtones, while sidesticks sound crisp and pronounced. Compared with traditional rods, the reduction in volume and characteristic percussive rod sound are somewhat less pronounced.
At approximately 55 grams and with a grip diameter of 14.7 mm, the Carbon Rods sit between typical 5A and 5B hickory drumsticks in terms of dimensions. The honeycomb-textured Wave Grip provides secure handling and supports controlled playing. This makes the Carbon Rods an interesting choice for drummers looking for the characteristics of rods combined with increased rebound, clearer cymbal response and high durability.
