Description
A well-balanced middle ground between 5A and 5B: the Rohema 55A Classic has a diameter of 14.7 mm, making it 0.4 mm thicker than the classic 5A. It is aimed at drummers who find a 5A slightly too slim while a 5B already feels too thick or heavy.
The small increase in diameter keeps the 55A well balanced without making it excessively front-heavy. At the same time, it offers strong rebound while retaining much of the familiar feel of a classic 5A. The acorn-shaped tip provides a brilliant cymbal sound.
The 55A Classic is made from American hickory. This dense, long-fibred wood is robust, absorbs vibrations effectively and supports high durability. The initial idea for the model came from drummer, drum coach and Rohema artist Sven Hassler, who also extensively tested the sticks.
