Guarneri Viola Chinrest – Classic Shape. Modern Control.
Description
The viola needs stability. But not at the cost of freedom of movement.
The Hill 4/4 viola chinrest brings both worlds together. Its classic shape provides secure support and a direct playing feel without becoming bulky or intrusive.
Especially during long rehearsals or performances, a balanced setup makes a real difference. The Hill chinrest supports natural posture and helps reduce tension while playing.
Elegant wood options such as plum or rosewood also add visual character to the instrument — from warm and refined to dark and expressive.
Tradition does not have to feel old. Just honestly good.
