Located in the world-famous Vogtland musical region, MIGMA eG has stood for traditional craftsmanship, musical heritage, and real instrument making since 1943.
The Musikinstrumenten-Handwerker-Genossenschaft Markneukirchen is one of the oldest active distribution companies in the region — but MIGMA is far more than a trading business.
Behind the cooperative are master craftsmen, violin makers, and specialists who continue the traditions of German instrument making with pride and experience. Whether it’s string instruments, bows, wind instruments, plucked instruments, Orff instruments, accessories, or components — MIGMA represents quality, expertise, and the belief that music should be created, not just sold.
What makes MIGMA special is the close connection between traditional craftsmanship and the international music trade. For more than 70 years, the cooperative has partnered with instrument makers and music retailers around the world, bringing instruments from the Vogtland region to musicians everywhere.
