Firma Rubner Metallbestandteile

Some instruments need hundreds of parts.

Others need just one piece of metal – and the right strike.
The story of Rubner Metallbestandteile began in 1864 with Josef Rubner. Since then, the workshop has been passed down from one generation to the next. In 1990, Thomas Rubner took over the company as the fifth generation.

Five generations don’t mean five new beginnings. They mean more experience with every one.

The range includes triangles, cymbals and children’s cymbals as well as tuning keys for zithers. Products with very different jobs – where sound and response can matter just as much as function and reliable handling.
Rubner is a good reminder that musical craftsmanship doesn’t always have to be big.

A triangle is simple.

So is a tuning key.

But try tuning a zither without the right tool.

Since 1864, Rubner has therefore been all about those small metal parts that have earned their place in making music.

Passed down through generations.
