Christian Sandner Zupfinstrumentenbaumeister
Christian Sandner represents instrument making that doesn’t need to be loud to be convincing. Born in 1949, he learned his craft from the ground up – from 1966 to 1968 in the workshop of his father, Heinz Sandner. Many years followed as a journeyman in the family business, where experience was not only gained, but refined. Quality here doesn’t appear overnight. It develops over time.
He earned his master craftsman certificate in 1972 and became self-employed in 1984, continuing his own path in plucked instrument making. His focus lies on guitars and mandolins – instruments where subtlety matters. Response, balance, tone.
